Hello my name is Katherine Vaccaro, I have been an Esthetician for over sixteen years, and have had many experiences in Salons; Day Spas, Plastic Surgery and Chiropractors Offices. My product knowledge and Sales experiences have helped me to open my own Day Spa; after many years of training and numerous certifications; I was eager to work in the field of product sales and taught State Board Esthetics at the Lake Forest Beauty College. This is a field I surley am passionate about and I have much experience treating all skin types and conditions.
Becoming a Certified Massage Therapist and Body worker was a nice addition to my Esthetics. Helping others of all ages; with their concerns from Acne care to Antiaging this has brought me much joy throughout the years. My speciality is Corrective Skin care; which includes Renewal peels, Skin resurfacing medical grade (Microdermabrasion), Antiaging; Non Invasive Photo lite Therapy, these are some treatments I have mastered to aide patients in the Medical environment performing Pre and Post Operative procedures.
I have certificates from nation wide companies to fine tune my practice throughout the many years in the industry.
Recently I have been certified to do gentle and non-invasive Teeth Whitening; which I have added to my menu of services. This came very easy to me as I had previous experience in the dental field.
This past year I've adopted my own Natural Botanical Skincare line, ZIBA and brought it to market. Correcting the skin from the inside out as well as, from the outside in, is crucial. For over ten years I have donated my services and products to local charities, I feel this has completed my responsibilities in doing good work in the local communities.
The past few years I have shared my training and knowledge by writing Skincare related articles for the Professional, ln Day Spa magazine, Skin Inc. and Les Novelles Esthetiques. I have shared them Online at Orange County.Net and OC city health as well as been published in local papers, last this summer for in Laguna Beach magazine.
I have helped to develop my own skincare line, Ziba Botanical; Aloe vera and Green Tea based for the most sensitive skins. Many of the formulations I helped create; were implemented with keeping "Natural" and "Aroma" in mind, as well as addressing targeted and specific problems.
